What is your specific error.  I have a copy installed built from source, 
but I didn't follow the directions.

Akonadi is part of KDESupport so you shouldn't need to install it
separately.

Problem is that there aren't instructions for the dependencies for the
BRANCH except for LFS.  Somebody that uses the other distros needs to
add this information.  But, I am told that most developers don't build 
the BRANCH from source -- many don't even have it installed on their system.
