Unfortunately I don't fully understand the question.

First, the location in kmailrc is the old, non-kwallet one.
If KWallet is used, the entry in kmailrc is probably already ignored.

This could be checked by running kwalletmanager (which shows up as an icon in 
the system tray) and then check if there are kmail related entries.
