Many of the bugs might be distro-specific, too, maybe?

Only thing that bothers me about a lot of Linux bug fixing is "That 
happens with version blah-blah-blah of this library, use version 
blah-blah-woof-woof of the library and it's ok." Of course, upgrading 
blah-blah-woof-woof triggers a cascade of bugs in other apps that use 
that library, and so on, so on, so on.
