I am afraid this currently is neither supported by the freedesktop.org
desktop-entry specification (used for the menu entries) nor by the menu
specification since this probably didn't come up as a use case when the
specification was developed.
It might be possible to address this in a future version of the
specifications, though I would imagine that there could be quite some
resistance since it would mean changes in several implementations of those
specs.
