[kde-linux] no screensaver in KDE & CPU goes to 100%

I think there are two places in the KDE control centre that you need to 
set things up - one is screensaver (which comes under Appearance & 
Themes) and the other is the Power Control settings for the display 
(which don't just affect the display as far as I can tell). I get to 
these by right-click on the desktop followed by "Configure Desktop" in 
the context menu that pops up.
