[kde-linux] Sound on Dell 620 laptop and KDE 3.3

   Hello ,

 My newly acquired Dell latitude D620 laptop runs under SLC4 and
 KDE 3.3. 
 
 The sound system does not seem to work : I hear no sound when 
 running the soundcard detection . 

 My sound card is  intel  Corporation 82801 G (ICH7 family) , 
 high definition audio controller . The module selected is 
 snd-azx .

  Does anyone have a hint to help me to solve this problem ?
