[kde-linux] Cups printer boradcast on 10.1

Hello!

I have a small network running a mix of machines using SuSE 10.2,
Sabayon/Gentoo, and one still running 10.1

Before you say "upgrade", I had to choose 10.1 because I had working
instructions to get a DVB Stick to run on that machine. It also has a USB
Laserjet 1300 hooked on that I want to share. And for what it's used for I
see no reason to modify it for the next 10 years (or more?).

Now I also have a network printer (Laserjet 4200). On all machines running
newer versions of CUPS I can tell them not to broadcast the network printer,
so that I don't get as many LJ4200 as there are users...

But 10.1 still uses an older CUPS and I don't find a way to tell it to
broadcast the local 1300, but no networked 4200. I tried lpadmin but t did
nothing. I also looked at all the files in /etc/cups to find what was added
and where, but I've seen nothing - maybe I'm getting blind?

Any idea? I know its a small annoyance but it itches.

Thierry
