[kde-linux] Disabling KDE web-browser

When I explained (alas! not quite clearly...) that I had already
designated Firefox as my default browser, I meant to say that I had done
exactly what Scott Bicknell is suggesting, but to no avail.
So I'm grateful, Mike Sager, for your suggestion to try the instructions
in the gentoo-wiki about integrating Thunderbird and Firefox. I did find
the prefs.js file and edited it as indicated. At first sight that seems
to have worked. I'll keep my fingers crossed...
