[kde-linux] Screen Saver

To the KDE-Linux Group,

I am trying to modify my Linux system so that when the screensaver
activates, I terminate a process. RedHat documentation suggests that I
may do this by adding an appropriate KILL command to the .xscreensavers
file in my home directory (using RedHat Linux ES 3.0). I am also using
Konqueror 3.1.3/5.2 RedHat - KDE 3.1.3/6.2 RedHat as the environment.
The problem is that I do not see an .xscreensavers file in my home
directory and have been unable to determine which of any other
KDE-related files performs an analogous function.

Could you direct me to a reference on how the screensaver works in KDE
and which associated files may perform this function?

Thanks
