[kde-linux] CUPS

I printed 2 invoices and one envelope. When I tried to print the second I 
could not. Print manager says cannot open cups. Connection refused. Check 
that it is correctly installed and running. I rebooted which did not help. I 
was going to uninstall and reinstall in Synpatic but it wants to uninstall 
about 9 programs including ubuntu desktop. Any suggestions are welcome and 
much appreciated.
