[kde-linux] Status/Menu bar empty

I have installed 6,06 with KDE 3.5.2. Now my lower panel bar only has the 
weather in it. I have no "K" or way to activate my menu. I have some apps on 
the second panel (not the main) so I can still go to firefox and kontact.
This was workin but now has quit.
