Yes, I know exactly what happened. We used to have a set of (square)
icons in a directory and when you build KDE from source, a small program
assembled them into the file: "kde.png" (which contains a vertical strip
with all the square icons combined). Somebody (not me) removed the
small program and added my new throbber icons for CrystalSVG.
Unfortunately, he forgot to add throbber icons for KDEClassic. Since
developers never start from scratch but rather just keep updating their
installation from SVN and build from source, nobody noticed till
somebody brought it to my attention. And it appears that a release got
out the door before I fixed the problem. Sorry about that.
