well, kmail configuration like account info etc is in kmailrc, but the whole
mail including directories, files etc. is on the server, at least with
standard IMAP.
only in case you use disconnected IMAP (=DIMAP), kmail keeps a local copy of
the folders and synchronises with the server.

copy kmailrc is ok, it will be updated automatically.
the local DIMAP structure will be built from the server data, so just do
nothing here.

if pine can save it's address book as vcard or ldif format, import in kmail
should be easy.
