[kde-linux] Unknown protocol 'audiocd'

I'm having problems setting up audio on FC4.  I have an audigy card working 
with snd-emu10k1 driver.  I can play a CD in Totem, but when I try to use 
Amarok I see

Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'audiocd'.

How do I tackle this, please?
