[kde-linux] KDM does not log failed login attemps to /var/log/btmp

Hi,

for security reasons i need to have all not successful login attempts to be
loged. Therefore i set the parameter FTMP_FILE in the file /etc/login.defs
to /var/log/btmp (and i created the file). Login failures on the console
(tty 1-6 on my box) are logged by "login". But i get no log file entries
when the user tries to login via kdm.

Is this a missing feature or a bug ?
