Sounds like quite a valid explanation. I cannot find anywhere in Kopete where
I tell it to use the KDE addressbook, however, and if I go into KDE Resources
in the KDE Control Center, and untick the imap address book, making the
standard file based resource the standard one, KMail still starts. Even if I
don't start Kopete on logon, KMail still starts.
However, if I delete those resources, then KMail doesn't start on login, which
thanks to your explanation I just found. This is quite annoying... If it
started Kontact, I'd be a lot happier, as I prefer to have my PIM start
rather than just the mail portion when I login. If anyone's interested in
ideas for a patch... :)
