Hi everyoneI am attempting to upgrade my slackware 10.2 system to kde 3.5.
To do this I have downloaded konstruct and made the following changes to
gar.conf.mk.in before copying it to gar.conf.mk:GARCHIVEDIR = $(HOME)/dl/kde3.5.2-
sourcesOWN_CFLAGS = -O2 -pipe -march=pentium3prefix ?= /opt/kde3.5.2My system
is a centrino, with a working network connection, with kde 3.0.0 installed
in /opt/kde3After making the /opt/kde3.5.2 dir and setting it writable by
my user account, I cd into meta/kde and key in make install:rob at fridge ~/dl/konstruct/meta/kde>

after downloading the large kdebase file, the entire procedure just stops.
My CPU and network are doing nothing (according to both top and gkrellm),
and konstruct just sits there. Am I doing something really silly here?
Any help at all would be very much appreciated!Robert Gledhill
