Hello,
I'm working in a school, and we have about 100 PC installed
with fedora core 3.
Our students can use each one of these PC.
The problem is that when they go from one PC to an other,
the connection time is very long (there home directory is
on a NFS server).
I discovered that this long connection time is due to kconf_update :
kconf_update look at the modification time and creation time of
each .upd file in /usr/share/apps/kconf_update, and compare them
with those found in the kconf_updaterc file of the user.
But on 2 differents PC, the modification time of the .upd files
are equals, but not the creation time (the creation time is the
date of installation of the PC, and can't be identical even if
the files are so)
Does anyone knows the solution ?
Thanks.
