Hi

Hope someone can help me.

This is more a linux related question than KDE, but I'm trying this from a
KDE console so maybe this is the right place.

I want a regular user to use the nice command to increase the scheduling for
some programs.

If the user types

            nice -20 command

an error is reported about lack of privileges.

If the user types

            sudo nice -20 command

& assuming I've setup the necessary sudoers file the command runs ok, except
the command is run as user root not the user who typed the command.

How can I assign the relevant privileges or setup Linux in such a way that
regular users can use the nice command to increase the scheduling of program
?

Thanks in advance for any help

Regards

MARK
