[kde-linux] Booting Into Run Level 5

I have successfully run konstruct with 3.5beta2 (SuSE 9.3).  I went with the 
default installation site, a subdirectory in a user file tree.  I can boot in 
run level 3 by running a batch file that sets the paths appropriately.

My question is how can I boot my system, as a user, in run level 5 using the 
same batch file?
