Hi! I use mandriva 2006 KDE 3.4.2. Is there a way to use kde without starting artsd. I use amarok (gstreamer backend), rhythmbox, and some other apps that complain that "device /dev/dsp is in use" until I kill artsd. I don't really need any other sounds from KDE. Thanks! -Steven
