[kde-linux] Passwords

In Kontact/Kmail I have repeatedly tried to save my password. I check to keep 
"Store POP Password" and hit Apply. The window freezes. I tried the same with 
just OK and it still freezes. I am running Wallet and still have to give the 
password on every boot. I use 3.4. Thanks for any help.
