Dear Kevin:

1) I removed the mimelnk/application folder (that's all I found there)
2) where do I clear the external browser setting? In Component Chooser?
3) restore the default settings of what? KDE? Or Konqueror
4) I just tested Konqueror again. Typed: www.nytimes.com, etc. Blank.
