[kde-linux] KDE 3.4.1, X 6.8.2 and transparency

Hi

I have a little question about KDE 3.4.1, X 6.8.2 and transparent 
windows. So there's my problem:

I've installed KDE 3.4.1 using X.org in version 6.7.0 and it looks 
like I haven't kompmgr installed. Now I've updated my X to version 
6.8.2 and I have a question about this - is it possible to add 
kompmgr to existing KDE 3.4.1 or I have to recompile everything 
(KDE3.4.1) once again ?

I'm using Mandrake Linux 10.1 w/ kernel 2.6.12-3 and nVidia drivers
