Let me correct you. When it comes to Open Source and Kannada there will be a
flood of responses!!! These Open source people are very friendly and will be
eager to help the new-comers always.

for starters, i can take up translation in my free time, i am good at that!!

That's really great!!! We need such confidence and enthusiasm!!!

with regard to coding i m still on the back foot!!! :(:( i havent developed

Mark my words: "Localization hardly needs any coding!". Technical part has
already been taken care by the application developers and we just need to do
translations. That's all !!!

i will surely go thru the links provided!

well by the last sentence i dunno what i was thinking when i wrote! (please

It's OK. I just wanted to know whether you are interested in maintaining our
kn.l10n.kde.org site when you said "doing something in the front".

One question: "How often you use Linux? Especially KDE??"

As we are translating KDE applications, please make yourself familiar with
KDE applications. This will bring quality in the translations you do.

Should you face any troubles in understanding KDE localization concepts,
using KBabel etc. please feel free to discuss them with us through this
mailing list.

Best regards,
Siddharudh
