Biased playlists are related to what dynamic playlists where in Amarok 1.
When you turn them on they add stuff to your playlist according to
certain criteria and then keep adding as you listen to songs.
In Amarok 2 it is a little different though. The criteria are not
strict as they were in Amarok 1.
Here is a real world example: You want to listen to some lounge music
but want to have a few pop songs here and there as well.
So you create a biased playlist and tell it to play lounge music with
a bias of 90% and pop music with a bias of 10% for example. Amarok
then tried to add songs to your playlist matching those criteria with
a bias of 90% and 10%.

In the German translation of our release announcements we called them
"polarisierte Abspiellisten" for now. I am not perfectly happy with
that. So if you come up with something better please let me know so we
can be consistent in announcements and program.
