This is controlled by kfmclient(1) profiles in $DATA/konqueror/profiles/ 
directory where $DATA is the path list in 'kde-config --path data'. The 
Home button uses filemanagement profile which opens $HOME URL while 
Konqueror uses webbrowsing profile which defaults to "about:konqueror" 
URL.

Experiment with Action Restrictions "action/openwith" 
and "action/iconview_preview" and "action/iconview_preview_all". See 
README.kiosk file for more details.
