In KDE 3.3 you will be able to do that in /opt/kde3/env/<yourscript>.sh

Unfortunately this information is totally useless since you use KDE 3.2.1 and 
in case you already used KDE 3.3 you wouldn't need to set KDEDIRS in the 
first place :-\
