Oh. Yet another SUSE quirk.
If anyone happends to have a list of "quirks" on KDE by the big Linux
distributors, I'd happily read it :-).

Hmm.. any suggestions on where to add a custom KDEDIRS environment
variable, so that the relevant parts of KDE read it, without modifying
the startkde script?
