[Kde-kiosk] Lock Down by groups

I currently lock down users belonging to a kiosk group (students in my
case) by adding a little hack to the startkde script that looks for
groups user belongs to, and if it finds a group that has a matching
kiosk directory, sets the kdedir/kdedirs variables to it, ie
/opt/security/students (with a kdeglobals file inside
/opt/security/share/applnk/config/kdeglobals).

Now with kde 3.2.2 out, is that still the way I should be doing that, or
is there now a more official way.
