[Kde-kiosk] no profiles?

Yes, those are good questions, and you have me puzzled as well... 

I'm suspecting that it is because you run kiosktool as root. Does it work if 
you run it as normal user? It will ask for the root password when it needs to 
copy files around so you don't need to run kiosktool itself as root.

In the meantime I will do some testing running it as root.
