[Kde-kiosk] Menu Empty *** More Info

I have determined that kiosktool will only show programs (items) that 
exist in

/home/<user>/.local/share/applications/<menu item>.desktop

I believe this is not desirable.

Kiosktool should be doing this outside of a specific users directory 
space.

Is this a easy fix?
