To remove the Trash button you must configure the kdeglobals file:

                   $HOME/user/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals

There you can change:
[Paths]
Trash=$Home/Trash

Your Trash is now in the home directory and not more on the Desktop.

To remove all panels on the desktop change the kdesktoprc file:

                   $HOME/user/.kde/share/config/kdesktoprc
And put in :

[General]
Enabled=false
