Yes, I made a backup and then started to change things until I got what 
I was looking for.  That lead me to the minipagerapplet.  When I did a 
locate on that I found the files in /usr/share...  Now I am looking at a 
way to set this universally.  I am currently searching for info on the 
minipager modes listed in kminipagerappletrc.

I want to remove it because of user comments -- or rather because of 
comments from our trainers.   I think I've said enough now :-)
