My mistake. kde-common isn't in kdebindings/ but in the cvs root. So
it's:

cvs co kde-common
not
cvs co kdebindings/kde-common

You don't have to put kde-common inside kdebindings... as long as you
link the admin directory to kdebindings/admin.
