[KDE-India] Fwd: [Indlinux-group] Localizing KDE apps

Hi,
  This was discussed in last KDE Hindi review meeting, about localizing
 application data ( sounds, text, graphics ) etc for KDE games,
 educational apps etc. This does not pertain just in translating the
 interface alone.

 A rough idea on what could be done is here (to start with in Hindi)

 Go through steps part on how to do it. For each application it would have
 to be figured out how to add the data, then compile it & integrate it with
 application by communicating with application maintainers, or making it
 available online so that i can be imported by applications directly.

 More applications could be added. A similar list for GNOME apps could also
 be made. Perhaps the idea could be generalized to identify all kinds of
 apps which could/might have Indic specific data too.

 Ideas/suggestions could be added on wiki page or in discussion section.
