Maybe the problem is not in gpssync, but in KHTML? The HTML we show in gpssync
can be seen at this URL:

http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/gpslocator/getlonlatalt.php?gmapsversion=3

Please try opening this URL in konqueror on the two systems that you used
earlier, and see whether the problem persists. If it does, it's a KHTML issue,
not a gpssync issue.
