re: comment #2 and kipi-plugins-1.4.0 for fedora, it (currently) requires
kdegraphics-4.5.x (and kde-4.5.x), which is available unofficially from
http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/   , in it's kde-testing repository.

(hopefully an official update will come soon, but we're still working through
some regressions)
