Today I have investigated KIPI interface a bit more to understand how this 
could be done. It looks like to me that there is no way to differentiate if 
user has selected album (collection) or individual photos (images) in KIPI 
host application. This means that KIPI plugin cannot provide different UI for 
upload photos vs. upload album. 
Maybe this should be taken into consideration for future KIPI interface 
improvements.
