I've put a 0.1.3 feisty pkg with the patch applied on:

	wget http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/tmp/kipi-plugins_0.1.3-1ubuntu1+ach0feisty1_i386.deb
	sudo dpkg -i kipi-plugins_0.1.3-1ubuntu1+ach0feisty1_i386.deb

Can you give it a try and tell we if it works for you?
(if yes, I'll move it into my feisty repo)
