Hum... I am the one to blame for that. When I took over maintainership, it was
decided to rewrite the plugin from scratch. I decided to go for a design
which would make it possible for people to produce very different gallery
layouts, instead of only being able to change a few parameters of a hard
coded gallery layout.

I initially had great plans for this plugin, especially being able to let
theme designer define a few parameter for the user to personalize (things
like colors, font sizes, anything the user can think about...) but I am
constantly running out of time.

It is probably time for me to acknowledge that I can't maintain the kipi
plugins I am supposed to maintain anymore. I will nevertheless try to move
the HTML export plugin to a better shape before leaving.

I am happy to report that a new theme has been created by Rüdiger Bente, which
features a very different gallery layout. I hope to import it soon.
