Not sure. i need to check indeep all plugins code where libkexif is used. 

From my memory libkexif is used to preserve Exif metadata on jpeg file before 
image transformations (for ex in jpeglossless, or in sendimages before 
resizing).

This operation can be done using Exiv2 very easily, but i want all feedback 
from others developpers before. 

Normally, we don't change anything like this during rc release, but later 
final.

The only reasons to do it is to solve some files in B.K.O
