I would like to see it alive since I don't plan to implement such a feature in 
Gwenview, but I don't have time to maintain it :-(

Looks really nice! But I didn't find any package for it in any distro :-(. 
Considering that Java applications can be troublesome to package and might 
not always work well if not running with Sun JVM, I'm not sure it's a good 
idea to depend on such an application.
