This isn’t a problem, but note that you don’t save very much disk space 
by doing this.

With --depth 1 (i.e., only include the latest commit), the repository 
takes up 322 MiB. And without it, it takes up 569 MiB. And then you 
would have easy access to the *entire* history of the Arabic 
translation, going back all the way to October 2001 (currently 25,223 
commits).
