petitlapin who? Ah that's Johnny nickname over at github

We will do things as we always do. 24 days is plenty of time if you do the translation work.

The templates are public
https://invent.kde.org/localization/l10n-templates/-/tree/master/trunk6/messages/gcompris

> 3. Guide me through the official procedure to add a new language

If you only want to translate gcompris, that is enough since it is quite isolated.

The general rules for adding a new language are

The first thing we ask people that want to create/revive a team is to
translate kcoreaddons, kio and kxmlgui as close to 100% as possible and send
them to me in private (no need to bother the rest of the people in the mailing
list with those files).

https://invent.kde.org/localization/l10n-templates/-/tree/master/trunk6/messages/kcoreaddons
https://invent.kde.org/localization/l10n-templates/-/tree/master/trunk6/messages/kio
https://invent.kde.org/localization/l10n-templates/-/tree/master/trunk6/messages/kxmlgui

So your first task to become "new team coordinator"
would be to get those files as close to 100% as possible and send
them to me.

I would really like if you translate those, but again, we may skip these requirements if you want to do gcompris only and are not in time for the deadline of end of the month.

Best Regards,
  Albert
