Me an Albert had a chat with Ben in the Akademy, and got following insights
from the sysadmin's perspective:
* SVN repo takes more (!) space than current KDE Invent's Git repos
* Sunsetting SVN and archiving it as read-only will save more computing
resources (mainly storage and other supporting scripts just for making SVN
alive)
* Tools related to SVN (e.g. WebSVN) are aged, and some of them are suffering
from security issues
Obviously we can't keep the SVN infrastructure till KF7/Plasma 7, and I think
this is the time to make a serious move on migrating away from SVN from
technical perspective too.
BoF logistics: we want to do our best to make the hybrid BoF, but if all our
attempt fails, we will be always available through #kde-i18n:kde.org Matrix
room.
