Improvement of German Translation (Audio and Text)

Hi to all,

several times in the past I was thinking about promoting GCompris to 
people working in education of children (e.g. at Kindergarten), but 
always stopped as I found a lot of wrong and missing translations/audio 
in the application. Also some questionable relation between picture and 
description can be found which could be discussed. I've added some 
examples as screenshots here to this Email.

Now again the time has come for a potential use of GCompris: We have 
some refugees in our village which struggle with our German language and 
there seems to be not enough training material for them especially not 
with spoken language - some of them cannot even read their own language!

So I raised two tickets regarding that bugs:

and offered to help with translation and audio recordings. I visited the 
according page but did not yet really try it up to now.

So basically two things could to be done by me:

1. Make proper audio recordings in good quality for missing, wrong or 
bad recordings. It would be perfect, if this could not be a male's voice 
but a children's one instead...maybe an "Erzieherin" can support me with 
a project in her Kindergarten...

2. Also check the relation between picture and German strings and 
correct them.

--> So what do you think about my ideas?

PS: What language is the best in this mailing list - English or German?
