Doku Kalgebra

Hallo,

in der Doku zu kmplot steht:

To draw a 3D Graph with &kalgebra; you will have to go to the <guilabel>3D 
Graph</guilabel> tab and you will see an input field at the bottom where you 
will type your function. For the moment &kalgebra; only supports functions 
that fit f(x,y) that will define the Z.

Beim letzten Satz versagen meine Englisch bzw. Mathekenntnisse.

Kann mir das bitte jemand erklären?

Wie wird das Z definiert?
