Bedeutung von N.B. in kalarm.po

Betrifft: kalarm.po

Kann jemand was mit dem zweiten Satz anfangen, insbesondere mit dem
N.B.? Die Bedeutung des N. B. will mir nicht einleuchten.

"Enter a shell command to execute before the alarm is displayed. N.B. %1 will 
wait for the command to complete before displaying the alarm."
