Wrong use of plural form in kopete?

Hi,

kopete/chatwindow/chatview.cpp:541 reads
setStatus ( i18n( "%1 is typing a message", "%1 are typing a message", 
typingList.count() ).arg( statusTyping ) );

which looks like a wrong use of i18n()'s plural form feature. Not sure though, 
maybe it's just a wrong translation in kde-i18n-de?

w/o translation, the message reads "<name> is typing a message" or "<name1>, 
<name2>, ...<namen> are typing a message", where nameX are the names of the 
contacts currently typing, right?
In the German translation, the message reads "<name> Person schreibt gerade 
eine Nachricht"/"<name1>, <name2>, ...<namen> Personen schreiben gerade eine 
Nachricht" ("<name> person is typing a message"/"<name1>, <name2>, ...<namen> 
persons are typing a message"), note the bogus "person(s)" in there.
Apparently the translator understood the message to read "One person is typing 
a message" vs. "<count> persons are typing a message", which is AFAIK the 
correct situation in which to use this form of i18n().

Now, assuming the use of this i18n() variant as pasted above is okay and only 
the translation is wrong, it's still suboptimal when there is more than one 
person typing (how to trigger this so I can check?): IMHO it doesn't look 
exactly pretty to write "alice, bob are typing a message". Shouldn't that be 
"alice and bob are typing a message" and "alice, bob, and fred are typing a 
message" instead? Or is that Germish? Do we need a new i18n() variant for 
enumerations? :-)
